They are hit or miss. You would be much better off getting a FAL from a source such as DSA, Ohio Rapid Fire, CGW, AZEX, ARS, ........
The one I saw has a used barrel (pretty bright but lots of visiable wear in the bore), and bolt doesn't hold open.
The store price tag was $750. The same store sells saiga 16" synthetic for $350, warehouse price about $230, from this ratio this particular store's "buy" price on century FAL should be around $500, without muzzle brake(usually a $20 extra). so it is about the same as AIM's warehouse price ($530 with muzzle brake). AIM's century gun advertises to have New barrel, not sure what kind of new barrel is on the gun, since the price is not much higher (if at all) than the used barrel century...

I had the money in hand almost a year ago to buy a FAL from Ohio Rapid Fire. About that time their web site stated Temporairly Out of Stock. I e-mailed them and called them and they kept saying to check back in a month. I just checked their web site and it still says Out of Stock. They must not be in any hurry to sale any FALs.

The delay that they are having is due to the shortage of kits from which to build the rifles. FYI, all the guns sold today, with the exception of prebans, are built from kits. The difference in pricing is dependent on the overall quality of the gunsmith.
If you are really looking for a rifle, I would suggest looking in the MarketPlace at either www.falfiles.com/forums or www.warrifles.com/forums . In both these places you should be able to find excellent complete rifles as well as kits that you could send to a gunsmith of your choice to be built, or even build it yourself.
