First of all, thanks to all of you for all the advice I found on this forum. There were so many things I knew nothing about a week ago. Anyway here she is...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/Jbrad/After.jpg

Electric Blue Yukon stock LH
Green Mountain Fluted 18 inch Barrel
Leupold Receiver Scope Mount & Leupold Rings
Tasco World Class 6-24X40mm scope
Clark Custom Trigger with over travel adj. (With JB Weld Trick)
CPC Bolt
WeaponKraft Bolt Recoil Buffer,
WeaponKraft Blue Steel Allen/Socket Head Takedown Screw,
Volquartsen Target Hammer
Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor
Extended Magazine Release (thanks CBR Rob)
Harris Bi-pod /sling-swivel mount

I stoned all my trigger parts and it's breaking at 20 ounces. I am still going to bed the action. As far as mods I still want to add a bug-hole tuner, CST automatic bolt stop, and maybe a different scope.

I have about 20 different kinds of ammo I will be testing, hopefully next weekend. The ammo is:
Peters High Vel.
American Eagle High Vel.
PMC Scoremaster
PMC Moderator
Fed Gold Metal
Fed Champion
CCI Velocitor
CCI Blazer
CCI Standard Vel.
Eley Trainer
Rem/Eley Club Extra
Rem/Eley Target rifle
Rem High Vel
Rem Thunderbolt
Rem Yellow Jacket
Rem 22 Subsonic
Rem Target
Win Wildcat
Win High Vel
Win T22 Target
Win Powerpoint

I will average 3 five shot groups. I might even get out the chrony and take down velocity. I will then take the best 3 or so and see how they do at 50 and 100 when the weather allows. Hopefully I'll get something to stay under 1/2" at 50. And maybe I can find something cheap that shoots well enough to plink with. I'll post my results as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks again,
Justin

edit: I changed some mods and added a new pic.

I really like that cobalt/Electric blue stock. Good luck on your ammo test. You may want to try some Wolf Target. I seems to shoot well in most 10/22's and it doesn't cost a bunch.

I'm moving your thread to the Gallery. You will own this thread.

I have to agree that cobalt/Electric blue stock is something else. Hope she shoots as good as she looks. ;)

Cajun,
Where do you get Wolf .22 ammo. I have seen their Shotgun shells, .223 & SKS ammo, but never their .22 ammo. If I can find it I'll try it. I would also like to find the Dynapoints, but walmart only has them in the 550 boxes. I don't want a brick if they don't shoot well for me.

Coyote,
Thanks.

Justin

I got my Wolf from either Midway or Natchez. The wolf rimfire is made in Germany.

The dynapoints only come in bricks. You could try Winchester Super X as it is about the same except the Dynapoints are Hollow points.

Well here she is after a little more work, and $...

Yukon stock LH (Tuck custom paint)
Green Mountain Fluted 18 inch Barrel
Leupold Receiver Scope Mount & Leupold Rings
Leupold 6.5-24X40mmAO Vari-X III
K.I.D. Trigger (Tuck painted the red trigger shoe)
Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor
CPC Bolt
WeaponKraft Bolt Recoil Buffer
WeaponKraft Takedown Screw
Harris Bi-pod /sling-swivel mount
Accra-glass bedded

And my favorite part... She shoots as good as she looks. I ended up trying about 25 kinds of ammo. None of them shot bad excepy the Aguila 30gr hyper velocity stuff and Peters. The one that shot the best was a suprise. It was Remington Thunderbolt.

5 shot group at 50 yds with Remington Thunderbolt. Concrete bench, Wichita Arms front rest, Leather sand bag rear rest, and zero wind.

That is amazing!!!!!! I can't believe that come from the Remmies! How lucky you are. I'm a sucker for blue too. Tuck did a fine job on that stock. Damn he does good work! That group is just fantastic for Remmies, I can't get over that! Good job neighbor!

Such a beautiful rifle and such a tiny hole it makes. I hope you shoot in the target shooting contest starting in a few weeks.

Bushwack,
Thanks for the complements. I was suprised too. Like I said I had some high dollar stuff I tried too. Who would have figured it liked the $1.35 a box stuff. I lucked out on this barrel.

Cajungeo,
Thanks. I'll shoot in your online tournament. I think it'll be fun. Just keep us posted, I rarely look at any forums except the 10/22 one here. And thanks again for all the advise and tips. She wouldn't shoot near as well had I not learned alot from this forum.

Justin

That is one fine looking and great shooting rifle. Looks like the target shooting contest is going to be very interesting this year.
I must admit I have been lax in shooting these last few months, end of year work causes me much travel. I am going to have to get with the program to even get close to that kind of shooting.:(
Heck I am going to have to break out the Tenex ammo, as I could never get lucky enough for one of my rifles to shoot that good with the affordable stuff.:D Mine shoots the ole blue box ammo well, but I have never got that kind of group with it. Dang!
