Hey Bill. We used to have Rules for Posting but I can't find them. The rules were something to the effect no rude or offensive, foul language pictures, no illegal posts etc. This would be for Moderators to back up, and for Posters to abide by.

Would it be possible to have a set of rules so we moderators will be operating from the same level? As it is, we are each doing our own thing. For example one may let the work "sh**" go by. I won't let it go by on my board. I'm not asking for a word specific, only a general set of rules. I guess there would be a little latitude for the moderator to interpret.

Thanks Bill. caj

Hey Bill, I just noticed this board has a built in editor or word filter. I spelled the sh** word out, and went back to edit it, but it automatically replaced 2 letters with **. Would it be possible to do that with the other boards? It would sure save us Moderators some work.

Let me know a list of words you want in the filter. There is exact and loose filtering.

Loose: If "hell" is in the list, it will change "hello" to "****o".

Note, the replacement can be words. On a mustang forums site, they change "ass" to "hiney", and it makes for some funny replacements if set to "loose", like changing "association" to "hineyociation". That's an example where you might want to use "exact" filtering.

I posted something about a "whoreing" lawyer on another site. It replaced the "whoreing" with "sleepering".

I don't know Bill? I would feel kinda strange sending you a complete list of all the foul language I know. Not that I use personally, but just what I've heard here and there.

I think I will try your new warning system for now. It looks like a good tool.
