Finally had a pretty decent day so after getting some chores done, I hit the range. I hate to tell you how much ammo I burned and how many targets I went through to get something decent this time. The ol' eyes are starting to fuzz up and let me down.
Anyway here's my best try. Figured I would enter it hoping to encourage more of you guys to participate. I know there are a lot of you out there that could really kick some butt.

Well, the strut I made is attached, but it's a copy of your idea and all the credit for that goes to you. I will get a pic of mine posted soon.

Good shooten Metaldoc. You are in first place now.
I know what you mean about blurr. The target looked so blurred I couldn't tell which part was the bull, and which part was just fuzz. I couldn't shoot this weekend as a front passed thru with high winds. Next week I will give it another try in both classes.

Yeah that's great Doc. I was just curious if the strut helps others as much as it has helped me. Happy that it does. I want to be confident I am producing a useful product to all people, not something that only works for some people.
It is not a patent violation to copy the strut for personal use, only if you sell it to someone else. Otherwise, if just for oneself, more power to you.

Yep, I made one for myself and that's it. Actually, If I needed another I would likely buy your new improved version that you plan to market. Other than personal satisfaction there isn't any advantage to making one.
