You will have to excuse my photo - but I took it of all my gear - The bolt action is a Savage 10FP LE1 - 308 with a 20" barrel. Because of most of the tactical shots being fired in a urban environment - this one is sighted in at 100 yards. Shot placement with a BTHP 165 bullet is 1/2" or less. The rest of the items are just part of my job.

I like it Coyote. Looks like you have the AccuTrigger. I got the LE 2. What scope do you have?

cajungeo - yes it has the Accra Trigger. They sure are nice - I guess your's has the same trigger. The scope is the Tasco Super Sniper - 10X. After reading alot and getting quite a few opinions about the scope - I decided to try one. It has the mildot. They are really well built. It is one of the clearest and brightest scopes that I have. To my understanding they are made for SWFA only. I have seen quite a few on different weapons and I am very glad that I purchased this one. Al-though I need to read up on the mildot system and learn how to use my Mildot slide rule.
At 100 yards - this scope will and rifle will produce a 1/2" group with no problems. I am playing with the loads - that is why I asked you a while back what you were using. Sadly the best load - factory purchased - cost around $24 dollars a box. (20 rounds.) I need to get that cost down quite a bit to enjoy the shooting of this rifle. My max shooting will be about 300 yards. Although I am going to try some 500 to 1000 yards shooting. I figure the group should be around 24 inches at 1000 yards - if I am lucky.....

Yep that AccuTrigger is a sweet one. Here is a Tech article on it.

Wow! Just read that article...didn't realize how SWEET those Savage triggers really were! It's good to know I don't have to spend over $1000 to get an extremely accurate rifle with a really good trigger! B)

Well - I just broke my personal bank account and ordered the McMillan A5 stock with the thumbscrew cheek piece. When I called to order it - They asked me what color I wanted - marble or camo in many different styles - I said - Black please. The guy on the other end said "BLACK" - geee no one order just plain Black. <_<

Anyone have a McMillan stock - in the A series - and how do you like it????

Hope you asked for a discount... ;)

You'll have to let us know how you think the stock performs...never shot with a mcmillan stock!
