Thought someone might want to see this.
Lee Precision has issued a recall notice for their full length resizing dies for the .223 Remington. These dies, if adjusted to firmly contact the shell-holder, will create excessive headspace and potentially dangerous conditions. Excessive headspace can cause brass to stretch prematurely at best, or cause head-separation with resultant gas release, at worst. These dies should be replaced immediately.
This applies only to Lee .223 Remington dies marked as Lee-223-C4 on the die body. This does not affect the Lee Collet dies or other .223 dies not marked with the C4 designation. Owners of Lee dies marked as described should call Lee Precision, Inc. at 262-673-3075 or info@leeprecision.com for replacement information.
