Sometime a weapon - although it may not look the best - is something special because of where it has been or who had it. I have a Winchester octagon barrel-Low block rifle - 1879 Sn. **2. It's in pretty good condition for it's age. Can not shoot it - but its on the mantel of my fireplace with that special feeling - knowing where it came from - many many years ago.

Just proves, a well cared for firearm will last a lifetime. The 06 will take any beast in North America except it is on the lite side for the Grizzly, and Kodiak.
