German Mauser FS/Trade

For sale here is a completely sported German Mauser 8x57 8mm. Has the origional step down barrel, is drilled and tapped-I will be keeping the scope and rings, but the base is a weaver style base. The stock is in real nice shape with a few minor scratches and has sling studs in place. I also had a 1 inch decelorator pad installed when I bought the gun less than 6 months ago. Most of the blue is worn off the barrel and parts of the reciever. The safety is "flag style" and turned so to be accessable for right hand shooters. The trigger is the origional military trigger far as I can tell. The gun is accurate as heck and with the decelorator pad it shoots like a pussycat. It will make a nice cheap back-up or "loaner/father-in-law" gun or a "camp gun". It could also be a nice foundation for your BIG BORE project-I also have some 8x57 ammo I would be looking to sell if you are interested
