I am looking for a shorter barrelled 44 mag lever gun and Marlin does not make their 16.5 inch one any more. AND folks seem to disdain the winchester trapper- feed problems etc.
What about this ruger 96 lever gun in 44 mag?
Are there any other options I am missing?
