I just bought a sporterized 308 after many years of begging my wife. Now I have ?'s for you guys. 1) can the front sight ramp be removed by knocking out the pin? 2) Are stripper clips available for the 308? 3) Who made a synthetic stock for this rifle with out the checkered pistol grip or forearm and no raised cheek piece, how much are they and are they still available? 4)what is the screw size of the inner band for this rifle. 5) can the stripper clip bridge be removed? 6) the rear sight is marked 2-4-6-8 is this 200 meters ect..? My rifle is marked NAC RDGFLD, NJ 308 INDIA - Symbol with K&J above RIFLE 7.62MM 2A1 R.F.I 1967 rear sight is marked icr 1560 R.F.I. 7) who inported this rifle? 8) how much do these sell for? I could use a inner band screw, a non mangled rear trigger guard screw and a stock set for this rifle if anyone has a pile of junk parts they want to donate. Thanks everyone. C.K.
