I took the Remington 700 Police on an elk hunt a couple weeks ago. We are so used to shooting fast with our Minis that I was surprised that I could work the bolt as fast as I did for the second shot. I know that it was not a fraction of a second, but it sure did feel that way. BTW this rifle is for sale. It is a way cool rifle, but I am going to use the sale proceeds for a Browning A Bolt in 7mm Rem mag.

I know what you mean about it feeling like it takes only a fraction of a second to reload a bolt. It all just seems to fly together...especially when you adrenaline is pumping! B) :beer: :ar15:

I was above Durango,CO. The camp was at 8300 feet. We were on horseback for 6 days. My friend said that he had four words for me...biker shorts and baby wipes. I learned just what he meant.
