Hey does anyone have one of these, or have you shot one? http://www.specialinterestarms.com/#Enfield%20K You have to scroll down about halfway on that page. I have both a Mini-30 and an SKS, and this would be a nice compliment to them, being that they'd all use the same ammo. Let me know!

Blender-
Check out the enfield 7.62 conversion post by Greg Graham, above. I found out some new info. BTW-I called tri-star, and although they don't import those rifles anymore, I was told that they were all brand new- not a single mil. or surplus part. The .308 no.4's use a m14/m1a mag, and the 7.62x39 version uses ak mags. Haven't been able to contact sabre defense yet, though. I would love to see prices!!!

Edit to add: Got in touch w/ sabre defense. They no longer market these rifles. As a matter of fact, no one imports them into the U.S. anymore, according to whom I spoke to at Sabre. It seems the price(750-800$ for the 7.62x39, 850-950$ for the .308 win), was more than the market would bear. After all, a standard 700 remmie is in that range, or less. Those rifles were (and I assume still are?), made in australia. Those aussies love their enfields!!
I will admit- I would pay 850-950$ for a new manufactured No.4, with completely all new parts, chambered in .308 Win, esp. if it accepts M1A/M14 mags!!!!
