I am shooting 300 gn lead nose over 14 grns of Accurate No7. It seemed weak but The max listing for this powder is 15 grns is this to much bullit and powder for a winchester 94 trapper? I want to shoot whitetail deer at 50 to 75 yds.

my .44 mag deer load for my Marlin 1894 is a 270 grain Speer GDSP, over a fair amount of H110. I get right at 1800 fps, and its pretty deadly on deer and feral hogs. Your load should do as well.

My load did do the job. I got a doe at 50 yds clean threw both shoulders. CK.
