Welcome to the group ;) Is your Mini a ranch rifle or standard? If it is a ranch you can get a weigland weaver adapter that fits ruger rings and if its a standard there are a couple of side mounts that work

Welcome to the forum Blacklabel. There are a number of quality mounts you can use for your new scope. The sticky referencing accessories will lead you to them. If you intend to drill for scope mounts I highly suggest Brownells (http://www.brownells.com) for your shopping. You will need a good carbide drill and several taps. There are a few guns I simply will not drill and the Mini sits at the top of the list. The receivers are a very hard alloy and resist accurate drilling very well. If you use a side mount or a sight mount that replaces the rear sight you will be OK. The Ultimak is a quality scout type scope mount if you prefer that. Another good source is Gun Accessories.com (http://www.gunaccessories.com) to find what you want. Good luck!

I can't remember which mount it is, but there is one that is very solid. You remove your rear sight, and it mounts in there. Someone that has one can explain better.

BTW I resized your pic as it was huge, and resulted in panning post sideways to read.

On the left side of your rifle is a cover plate. When the rifle is disassembled you remove the cover plate and install the mounting bracket. It will work on your rifle.

That sight mount is from S/K. It is available from Brownells (http://www.brownlls.com) and it is very sturdy. The rear sight is removed and the mount fits between the receiver tabs. It comes with complete instructions and mine has never failed me.

That would be the one. And yes, there is a threaded hole in there that the mount threads in to. Pull the rifle out of your stock and remove the plate. It's pretty easy and nothing is going to fall out. Just open her up and see what I'm talking about. It's really a simple mount.

Check out this link... looks like the one that mounts where the rear sight attaches.
