I purchased an Armscore .45 and it is a great gun
for the buck. Coming from shooting several .9mm
to .45 for old times sake, I wasn^t sure the Phillipine
made pistol was worth it. It is actually a well made
and accurete handgun. I have run about 500 rds.
and had no problems and it shoots to point of aim
with me and my range buddies..I lot of purist bad
mouth my gun, but for me it works fine and well
worth the money.

Hey, if it's doing what you want then don't worry about the naysayers. There is always someone that will try to rain on your parade.

I have a plain jane SA Mil spec .45 that I thoroughly enjoy, just as it is, straight out of the box. Many think it should be tricked out but that's not for me.

Sounds to me like you have a shooter. Enjoy and congrats

I have been and will continue to be one of the nay-sayers. Now I am not bad-mouthing your gun but Armscor in general. The quality of everything from the steel to the fitting is just too inconsistant for me. If you get a good one, that is great, but you can't bet on getting a good one.

Congrats on getting a good one, shoot and enjoy. As long as you are happy with it the he** with what anyone else thinks.

I have come to realize that poor and high quality maker's have lemons (look at any web site and every maker has there share). When you find a weapon that works and suits your need "carry, target or hunting" keep it and don't worry what anyone else thinks. First and foremost is reliability, check out 1911 forum .com You'll see a bunch of high end 1911's that have there share of problems. I own Springer's and Kimber's but wouldn't turn down a lower priced reliable 1911.....Look at Norinco made in china, Wilson custom did when they started out. When parts wear or break replace with quality ones....
Good magazines, tuned extractor polished throat/ramp and quality recoil springs help should reliability issues should arise...keep it in the 10x ! :)
