hey (this is my first post in this forum) just got a marlin bolt action 22mag any of you have on.Has a detachable mag. know where I can get extras?? :sniper:

I can't be certain, but I think you might be able to find 'em in Cabelas.
I heard the marlin .22s were really accurate... You'll have to give us a range report when you get a chance to shoot her! :D :ar15:

I have a Marlin 882. What Kind is yours. I cut a coil off the trigger spring and improved it alot. Best Ammo for me is Win 32 grain HP and Rem Ballistic tip. Awsome destruction on crows.
Alot more good ammo coming out every year.

Walmart has the extra mags. I have a Marlin 882ss and its a shooter. I have tried every kind of .22 mag. ammo there is and Winchester 40gr HP is the way to go. Not that the other brands are not accurate but I have NEVER had a groundhog go back in his hole after being hit with a Winchester load. Beavers, bobcats,groundhogs,various other varmits the Winchester ammo is the way to go.
