Reloading bullet types

I have had some real good luck with 60 v-max loads in my mini but yesterday I tried 55 gr blitzking sierra and did not get a good group at all. I don't think I was pushing them fast enough, using the same powder load as the 60 gr. I'm shooting a 196 series with the 1-9 twist.
What do you guys shoot flat base or boat tail bullets?

tri70,run them up to 3200fps,we shoot 55gr. bullets,and get good results.My gun is a 1-7 twist and it shoots them great! I shoot more 55gr. bullets than anything else. Ron Dog :D

I almost forgot,boat tails fly better in the wind. We shoot 55grFMJBT's alot. Ron Dog :P

That what my problem is then I was not running fast enough.
