winchester trigger problems

I have a winchester 94 in 30-30 and was wondering if there was anything that could be done to reduce the trigger pull.

Make sure you squeeze the lever tightly as you prepare to shoot. Light pressure on the finger lever may not fully trip the trigger release and will result in a very hard trigger pull. I've never found the pull weight on a Model 94 to be excessive if the trigger release is fully depressed.

the lever is always depressed but i want to lower the pull from 6 pounds to 3 pounds.
