Done all I can do to my gun and still cant beat an inch(close but no cigar) Reloading seems to be a must to complete my mission, so tell me, what is your best recipe?

:huh: I don't know what your twist rate is on your rifle,mine is 1 in 10",and these loads work well and are safe by any manual;
1.)63 gr sierra semi spitzer or varminter,23-23.5grs of IMR4895,choose your primer

2.)68 gr or 69gr sierra or hornady hpbt match,22.0-23.0grs of IMR4895,choose your primer(small rifle of course)

3.)70 gr speer pt.,22-23grs IMR4895,choose your primer

Use caution if you substitute H4895 for IMR4895 as they have different burning rates-be sure to consult reloading manuals or websites for manufacturers recommendations.Of course use this information at your own risk as I cannot control other persons reloading proceidures and assume no liabilities for their actions.........Learn to reload from someone that has done it for many years and is considered very competant.The A$$ you save might be your own! ;) :sniper:

I like using the faster burning powders and lately I have good luck with 21 gr of Reloader 10x with a 60gr v-max. Don't forget to purchase a good loadin manual, I just bought the new Lyman. It is very comprehensive on the details and procedures for reloading. Also works well with 60 gr HP, they are a little cheaper to shoot. I have had good groups from 50 gr v-max as well with the same powder charge.

My mini also like the collective length 2.260 which still fits the mags, if you go much more you may have to load 1 at a time.

Tinman did you say you polished the action parts on your mini?

I did mine and used a bore paste to hand lap the barrel. Also using a bore conditioner which has made a big improvement in groups.

-good luck, tri

Even with Reloads shooting 5 shot groups at 100 yds you may ocasionally shoot a group less than 1", but not consistantly.

In my mini 63 grn Serria Soft points, 22 gr of RX-7, Winchester brass Grouped by weight. with Federal match primers shoot average groups of 1.15". Best is .85". Your milage may vary.

As reloaders know never load up someone elses load without droping back on the powder by 10%, and work up to pressure. And never shoot someone elses reloads in your rifle.

So I guess you have already had a trigger job, gapped and torque gas block, bedded the stock, installed a muzzle brake or cut and recrowned your barrel? These things will make a big diff in accuracy.

Tinman,try a 55gr bullet,with 21.6gr. IMR 4198. I'm getting around 3126fps,and really good groups.Also I'll let in a tip I got from a benchrest shooter,for field guns(as he calls them). Seat your bullet the case the same as it's width(.224 od,so .224 deep in the case neck. I tried this and it did make a diffrence. One of the best tips I ever got! Ron-Dog :lol:
