what's the standard?

Ok, I'm going to enter with the dartboard target for mini-14 scope class. I'll have to wait till Monday to post it but...I see some people shooting at 25 yards, some at 50 yards, and the rules for April-June say 10 yards. So which is it? I plan to shoot offhand, by the way, shooting from a sandbag doesn't help me practice my aim much.
