I'm considering acquiring an IMI Baby Eagle - Polymer Frame - 3.5" barrel - 9mm

I have seen reference to Magnum Reasearch who I assume is the importer???

I have also seen reference to the Witness CZ style ACP semi-autos. May I assume these are completely different manufacturers?

I really want the Baby Eagle that is manufactured by IMI in Israel and don't want to inadvertantly get something else when looking along these lines.

Also, any pros or cons of steel frame v. poly frame? I want the poly for the lighter weight to use as a CCW.

Thanks in advance for your insight.

HY, IMI baby eagle or yericho, is a CZ75 clone built for israeli army or civilian market, it is reported as a good and reliable weapon.Thera are few versions of yericho and there is also a polimer version.
if you have trouble with finding yericho which you want you can always go with Czech zbrojovka 75, that IMI copied and made yericho.

Yes you are right these are completely different manufacturers, witness, is a italian producer (Tanfoglio) Tanfoglio is known for building CZ clone weapons (CZ75) but Tanfoglio (witness) quality is not comparable to original CZ , CZ quality is much better.
you can never miss with a cz product

Thanks! A lot of CZ's around here, so I may check them out again.

I had a Jeherico in my hand and it fit really well but it was the longer barrel and the heavier steel frame.

After much research and comparisons, I ended up with the MR9900BL.

9mm, 3 1/2 " barrel, polymer frame. Fits and feels better in my hand than the CZ's did, and it's relatively small size and light weight will make it a good CCW.
