Made it out to the 100 yard lanes today with my recently-scoped mini. Lots tougher shooting at this distance! The extra distance seems to amplify every little mistake. Was all over the target most of the time, although saw a few promising groups here and there. Will need a little more range time before I turn in results on my rigidity strut. But for the time being I did manage to try a few contest targets, my first time competing in the scoped class. Not a great group, but an OK score, in fact I think I'm just a few points behind Master Cajun.

Nice score kkina, that's not a bad little group either for the 100yd. line. You wouldn't think that an extra 50 yds. could open up a group that much.... but every little breath of air and fraction of movement in the cheek weld seems to move the bullit by a factor of four insted of two........

Out at the range again today for more strut testing, and decided to try one last time at a few contest targets. Wasn't really expecting much, but pleasantly surprised to find a high score among the spray-and-pray.

Wow kkina you're wearing me out.......... I've got to find a place to shoot!!!! The range I went to last was 49.6 miles from the driveway. It was more for a pistol shooter. The rifle part had unmoveable bench style seating that was to high and I'm not short of leg. Then to top it off the rest for shooting from was to narrrow and not level. Even shooting from my home made gun vise was hard. Now there is only two days left for the contest and I haven't posted a target.......... Damn iT

Nice shooten kkina. You posted a score of 170 but your target says 160?

Cajun, I deleted my first target. The new one is marked 170 pts.

Usually it'll take me around 20 attempts to get one decent target. This time hardly any effort at all. Only around 8 tries. I think because this series target is more random, meaning a more random group may actually be a higher score.
