I have a low serial number Rock Island 03 which Dad gave to me for high school graduation in 1976. Me, being ignorant of the supposed weakness of the receiver, :blink: have shot everything from 180 grn Win Silvertips and Rem Cor-locks to surplus ammo through it, and it is fine. But what isn't fine is the rear ladder-type sight has a lot of lateral wiggle (the windage screw must be worn) How can I tighten it up?
