Whats the best ammo for glock 10mm?

I recently bought a Glock model 20 10mm...i dont have i yet...i bought from a dealer online..so i am havingto wait for the shipment of it...but i wanted to try and get some things sorted out "to make it feel at home" when it arrives. I am planning on carrying as a back up..and a carry gun while hunting here in the mountains of western North Carolina....however, I will be doing some hunting in Middle Georgia, I would like to use it to take a deer, so what would be a good hunting round..and what would be a good defense round for the 10mm?

I don't know much about the 10mm, but I guess the one thing you really need to know is WHO MAKES 10mm ammo. I went with the G21 in .45ACP.

Norma has some good Offerings for the 10MM,myself I would choose the 180GRJHP.Or Corbon is makeing some very good ammo for the 10MM.HTH

I got my G20 today...shes beautiful!! well i know Glocks are ugly..but, you know how everyone thinks their own kids are so pretty :D ...and your thinking..my god what is it? well thats the same here!! Any way...Im gonna get some ammo to plink with first jsut to get a feel for the safety trigger, Im gonna check out some Buffalo Bore later on. I have wanted a Glock since they first came out, and this is my first one ive ever owned..and a 10mm has always been on my wish list too..so i did some research and combined the two..and thats why i went with the G20. Thanks guys!!

I have did some research..and I came across a company called "Double Tap Ammunition". They are mainly into 10mm ammo..but eventually going to go to high velocity .40s&w. As far as I can tell..they are the only commercial producers of a line of high Energy/high velocity 10mm ammo. I orderd a box of Double Taps loaded with 180gr Golden Sabre HP...here are the numbers for it: Ballistics :1330fps/ 707 ft./ lbs. - Glock 20
