I bought this rifle four years ago. Since then I have finished my education. This rifle was sort of a grad present to myself when I finished high school. Now since college is behind me, a few mods will be another grad present to myself!

As of 5/19/2004 it is as seen here. Stock action. Nothing but a cheep scope mounted on wally world see through scope rings.

I'm trying to get a plan of attack going, and just browsing the gallery has helped me along.

Thanks guys, I'll keep ya posted on my project.

There are some mods in the tips & tricks section you can do that will help now while it is still in the Std configuration, but they will carry over if you decide to replace the barrel with a match barrel. For example, trigger job, extended bolt release, auto bolt release, bolt buffer for starters.

BTW nice rifle. Maybe now your home work is over you will have somemore time to shoot it. ;)

a synthetic folding stock would be a good buy. a bipod would be cool to but try to stay away from stainless steel. it may look good but leaving it blued would make it useable for hunting. :sniper:

one hint is to figure out a theme. like a sniper rifle or a tacktickle gun. mine is a sniper rifle but all i kill is snakes and turtles. :sniper:

one hint is to figure out a theme
My problem I keep getting new themes. So I have one as a bench rest target rifle, another as a hunting/Silhouette target rifle, now my third is a pre-ban folder. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do when the .17 Mach 2 barrel comes out.

cool, I unfortunatly can't afford more than one of each gun. so I have to make the ones I get, look realy good.
but you're right it is hard to decide on a theme, but if you decide on a theme you can save money instead of buying parts you change your mind about latter.
