Walther P22

Recently bought a P22. Just shot it for the first time. No feeding problems or jamming at all with various ammo. Did have two problems though.

1. The rear sight moves lateraly on the adjusting screw, without the screw turning or moving.

2. Mags drop while firing. Could I have been actuating the mag release with my trigger finger when in the full rear position?

Please let me know if you've seen these problems and how to fix them. I like the pistol and want to keep it.

I had one and had every problem you could imagine except the falling magazine. The rear sight seems loose on all I have seen. Can only say to send it back to Smith for service. Many people have reported problems with them.
