Great looking gun...how does it shoot? Also what is the shinning thing coming out of the magazine well??? Long magazine???
So far it's been too windy on my days off to try for groups. Today looks calm but could be wet. I have two mags put together end to end with one of these.

Nice 10/22. So what all have you done to it? Is that a power custom mount for your scope?
Here's what I have done so far. I've done some trigger work myself but would like to try some of the VQ upgrades. I also added a white buttpad spacer from Brownells for a little different look. Had to cut to fit but I think it turned out nice.
Green Mountain 22LR SS Fluted Barrel
Hogue Overmolded RUBBER Stock
Simmons 44 Mag 6.5-20x44
Burris Signature Zee Rings
Power Custom Scope Base
Kidd Trigger Pins
Hand polished the receiver

Recoil Buffer

Eons ago when I was a teenager, I made a white liner out of a purex bottle. It looked good.

reel nice I don't have enough money for most of that stuff
Bo Duke #2, do what most folks do, buy one mod at a time. It takes time but you'll get there. I do most of my buying at tax return time, (when I can get the assholes to give me one!).

Bang-
That is one sweet, all-business looking 10/22!!!! I esp. like the polished rec. If I only had a stainless barrel, I'd do the same thing. I had a screw up w/ my 10/22 while bedding, and long story short, while soaking the rec. in acetone and lacquer thinner to remove the bedding comp. remnants, it also removed the rec. coating. Would have been real easy to polish then, but w/ a blued barrel, it prob. would have looked silly. Did you polish the trigger group also?
