habanero - Series 1 - 10/22 Shooting Champ

Finally made it to the range, even though it was pretty windy. I shot one warm up on a regular bull target, then posted this one with the black bears.

Date: 04-30-04
Gun: Ruger 10/22 RBI SS.
Ammo: 20 rounds of Winchester Dynapoints 40g. HP.
Range: Outdoor
Distance: 25yds
Setup: Caldwell "The Rock" with Protektor front and rear bags
Wind: 10mph NNW
Score: 95 pts.

I missed one bear, which isnt bad for open sights. These bears look like fuzzy blobs at 25 yds with iron sights.

This was way fun! Glad that the standard/iron sight class is available, since I dont have the funds yet for the scope.

Most circle their hits, but habanero circles his only miss. A near perfect score! Good shooten habanero! :D

Great job habanero.Did you have any trouble getting your target to post on hear .I have been working on geeting one on hear for three days now and still wont come up.Good shooting.

habanero you have a fine looking target there , try one at 50 yds. you may find you do not need a scope . if all you could see was fuzz an did this hate to see what you could do if it were clear&sharp for you. cajungeo he over worked his eyes with the fuzz he was shooting he just did the easy thing make one circle that way he can rest his eyes sooner. habanero you have a very nice target there keep up the good work and good luck johnr :usa: :sniper: :beer: :beer:
