Prediction: AWB Will Live Again

If Bush is given another term, I am willing to predict that we will see some form of an AWB come to life. I hope to God I am wrong, but history has warned us. :(

There is a small chance that the AWB could be renewed After the sunset.

Only if Bush pushes for it.
If Kerry pushes for the awb it would be a up hill battle because the republicans would resist just because its something kerry wanted.
But if Bush were to be the one pushing for it the repubs would not put up any kind of a fight .


But at any rate the AWB is dead, the only thing we will see the next few years are a few states passing their own awb bills

According to these polls on awbansunset.com we have a very good chance of letting the ban expire. And it seems that our letters and phone calls are getting some attention. We have gained 2 votes in our favor from the H.R this week.

I am still very opptimistic

It doesn't matter if the AWB sunsets or not. From what I understand, a lot of states are rushing to impose their own AWB. The only good thing I can see is that it may take less to repeal a state ban than a federal ban. It's the same thing its been for ten years - buy what you can before its gone.
