reddot's 10/22

i was at the Reno, Nev. gun show yesterday and i ran across this stock. They said it would fit my 10/22. I was skeptical as i have never seen one before and i have scoured the internet for cool 10/22 stocks. This is a underfolder and works flawlessly. Can anyone help identify? They charged me $60.00 for it and i considered that a good buy

I seem to remember seeing these on here before at some point, I can't remember anything about them for the life of me, but if I'm not mistaken then someone here should be able to tell you about it. Nice lookin gun!

That looks great! That rifle must be a squirrels worst nightmare. :lol: I've never seen an underfolder for the 10/22, but I bet its worth more than what you paid for it.

These 3 pics are of the above 10/22 that has been refinished. I know there are purists here that would never paint a perfectly good wood stock but I think it looks really good black and green.

like the bed liner? no its a paint for stocks that gives it a somewhat bumpy feel. i'm not sure what it is called

Looks to me like a Federal Ordnance stock. They made a similar version for Mini-14s. It looks nice painted OD and Black like that.

Reddot223 That's exactly the color scheme I have in mind for my twins. Good Looking !!! I've been eyeballing the spray on bed liner at WallieWorld for the stocks, and was planning on GunKote for the metal parts. Is the metal on yours' GunKote O.D.Green? The twins are a 10/22 and Mini14, both are setting in Butler Creek Folders, both are stainless.

yes its O.D. green. Also, it is not spray on bed liker on the stock. I am having my folding mini done this weekend in the same color. Hope to have pics up by next weekend. I will have more info on the stock paint by then

Looks good. Have refinished my stock with a nice cherry minwax stain. Painting and refinishing is half the fun. ;)
