That looks like it will be a real shooter! I like that stock. When I build my Crow Buster 10/17M2 I may get a stock like it. ;)
Took it out shooting today. Brought several types of ammo and went to work. I just used an old 3x9x40 Banner scope I had. Well, I have good and bad news.
Good news is it loves CCI Blazer(cheap ammo ;)) it shoots the CCI as well as the match grade stuff. I was very happy to find this out. I was able to shoot my first clover leaf holes with this rifle at 50 yards. I can't type/say how pleased I am about that.
Bad news is I need to bed it. The barrel is moving in the Corelite stock. I already have the Volquartsen bedding kit and I will try it. If that doesn't help I will purchase Brownell Acraglass bedding kit.
After the barrel sits still  I will send the bolt to Randy at CPC and I still have a few more tricks for this rifle like Moly Fusion etc.
:sniper: why do I like seeing these two shoot at each other :rapid:

Did you try the Volquartsen bedding kit yet? I was just wondering how you managed to make it work on your Corelite stock and what the end result was.

mrcosmos,
I did try the VQ bedding kit for about 15 minutes and it never made it to the range. I didn't like the way the barrel still had so much play in it. I could easily move the barrel and figured I would need to sight in constantly. I was thinking every time I carried the gun in a range bag or bumped it wrong I would need to sight in again because of barrel movement.
So, I used Acraglass instead. The action is solidly bedded into the Corelite stock. I free floated the barrel too. I didn't bed under the barrel at all like is so popular today. I can run a piece of paper all the way up the barrel and because the VQ CF barrel is so light it will be just fine.
The end results are decent. The rifle never shoots out of a 2" group at 50 yards, but this is far from acceptable and I will continue to improve the rifles accuracy. The best groups are dime size and Im after that consistantly.
Up next is a Kidd TG :D
Ok its done. I was thinking of adding a Kidd trigger, but why at this point. I did do the Moly Fusion, bedded and free floated the barrel. The coins on the right side targets are dimes and were shot at 50 yards(ten rounds per target). I used Wolf ammo.
All my hard work has paid off.... :) :D

Looks to me like a job well done.

What is this Moly Fusion?
read here about Moly Fusion.

Something brought my rifle from a 2 inch grouper to a 1/2" grouper. Its was either one or combination of Moly Fusion, CPC bolt work, bedding and free floating the barrel.
I'm almost bored shooting it at this point. I shoot how we read english. On a 5 spot target I shoot from left to right. By the time I'm on the lower two targets Im basically rapid firing because the clover leaf groups are boring me. The most fun is taking out your buddies orange on his target as he's reloading
As you all can tell I'm very pleased with my 10/22.
Of the possibilities you mentioned, I bet it was the bolt work. I put a squared and headspaced bolt into mine and it shoots boringly well as you mention.
It sure ****es off the buddies though...
