The clip really does make a difference in appearance doesnt it...

Hey bcc... heres a little project for you. Take your rifle to a 25yrd or 50yrd range, and blast away. after blasting take a look at how big the bullet group size is. then take off the barrel band and try doing it all over again, and you should notice some kind of a difference in the group sizes ;)

by removing the band it will take the unwanted extra pressure off the barrel. In a way it free floats the barrel more than with the band on so it changes the harmonics of the barrel. So, it should increase your group size.
