Here's my first attempt. Didn't have alot of time tonight, so I just shot at one target. PC hammer and removed barrel band are the only accuracy affecting mods I have done so far. I intend to bed the action and free float the barrel next week sometime and see what that does. After that will be the bughole tuner to see how that effects things.

mrcosmos shot a bear in the butt

Nice shooting for the first time, and so far you are in 1st place. ;)

I was going to this week end, but don't know if I can as I'm going to a party. They are having 1,200 lbs of crawfish. I may not be able to walk after.

Well, being a northerner, I am not sure if that is a good excuse or not, but I can live with that. ;) Seriously though, I live in the boonies and carved a shooting range out of the woods in my backyard, so one of the first things I do after work is get setup and shoot a couple. I really need to work on a better shooting rest though. Three months is plenty of time for someone to beat that score! Hopefully I will better it also.

Mrcosmos believe me that is a very good excuse. The last mudbug boil I went to was only a couple of hundred pounds and it almost ruined me. Cajungeo I hope you behave your self and don't eat to much!!! A man can hurt his self with that much crawfish to eat.

When we eat we have 2 ways to deal with a full stomach. We set under a shade tree for a while, and take a nap, or dance to some down-home swamp fox music. :D

I installed a corelite stock (someday I might get a bull barrel) today. Hey, it was cheap and I didn't have to work too hard at freefloating the barrel! What was hard was to get the scope sighted in again. It was way off. After spending way too much time on resighting, I was only able to shoot at one target which merely duplicated my previous score. This time I used Federal bulk, and the first time I used Winchester Super X Power-Points. I will have to try tomorrow and see how the Winchesters work. I hope somebody else starts shooting soon!

Just print up a couple targets. Take your scoped 10/22 to the range with as much ammo as you can carry  and your good to go. To post a result, you can either scan in your target or take a picture and upload it onto your computer. Then you attach the image while posting your topic. Good luck to ya in the match
