:trooper: Can anyone recommend a decent yet inexpensive tactical flashlight for my 870 express magnum?

I reccomend Tac Light but they're not that cheap. check out their website. you can probably find something in your price range. the key is getting something with enough lumens to give you a split second blinding effect on your target. unless your hunting night-geese, spend a few extra bucks on a good light.

Get a M3 tactical light you can buy mounting adaptors or mount a weaver base to the pump forearm like I did. You will be able to use the same light on about every gun you own. Easy on, easy off. I can post a pic of how I did mine if you would like.

I'd look into the SureFire line. They are the best lights out there, no if's and's or but's. You can find several types of mounts out there. Good luck.

adaman04, The point to this mod is that you do not have to purchase a surefire dedicated light unit. This way you purchase a 100.00 M3 light and about 5.00 dollars worth of a weaver base, tee nuts and allen screws. Then you can mount the same light on virtually any long gun that you own. A lot cheaper than spending 200-300 for a light unit that you can not use on another gun. Dont you think the industry gets enough of our money?
