I just saw the Illinois state Govenor talking on the 10pm news - stating he will sign current legislation banning all assault weapons in the state of Illinois. Another California. :angry: :2guns:

I live in a neighboring state, and what has been going on in Illinois is downright frightening. Governor Rod Blagohewhatever is out of control.
I think the deal is to change the age to obtain firearms in Illinois from 21 to 18,(????) IF ALL ASSAULT WEAPONS ARE BANNED.
I think they should change the legal drinking age from 21 to 55 in Illinois, becasue everyone must have been drunk on election day. (Rod won by a landslide if I remember correctly)

As a Chicago born/living resident, I'm not too happy with Blagojevich. He was elected in 2002 by a 52 to 45 vote over Jim Ryan, no relation to George Ryan who decided that he would not return for a second term after he was indicted for charges of racketeering, embezzlement, etc... I'm hoping that this all blows over and Illinois doesn't become another Cali. I mean where is the humanity, at least they have good weather!!

:angry: I too live in Illinois and our govenor is by far the biggest bser in the whole Usa, When He was running for Govenor he said he was for the hunter but is well on his way to please his bed partner Dick daley. He is nothing but a chicago machine canadate and hopfully the house and senate will over ride his stupidity.
