I have a custom 1903 with a Flaig barrel and I think Ferlach Flaig from Penn. (now out of business) cutomized the rifle. It has a nice piece of black walnut, engraved floorplate, redfield base, .270 barrel, checkered metal buttplate, and is a tack driver with a smooth action. Does anyone know about Ferlach Flaig and his gunsmithing business? Any pictures of 1903's he may have built? I would appreciate nan history on this individual and his 1903 involvement.
