Somewhere in the back of my mind Im thinking that Glocks and re-loads dont mix. Is there someone who knows for sure if this is or isnt correct. I had planned to buy a Model 21 tomorrow and while watching Jag I had this flash go off about the reloads and the Glock.I load a lot of .45acp and sold my 1911 to buy the Glock and now id better be sure if Glock is what I want. If not I'll get another Kimer.

Reloads are fine, as long as they meet SAMMI spec. for size when finished.
Lead bullets are NOT recogmended in a polyoctagional rifled (Glock and some others) barrel, if you feel the need to shoot lead, get a aftermarket (comventional rifled) barrel.
The problems reported all come back to 3 basic causes comming together at the same time. High pressure loads (IE: 40S&W), large area of unsupported case head at the feed ramp (Glock and others), weak brass design (low transition height between the web and the wall). The first is caused by reloaders trying to crank another 50fps out of the load, the second is there for reliable feeding under any conditions (see military testing protocal IE: mags full of mud), and can be reduced with a aftermarket barrel at the expense of TOTAL reliability (will work well unless your mag's are full of mud), the third has been addressed by the case manfactures.
Your 45ACP is a LOW pressure round and reloads won't be a problem unless you start overloading it (don't exceed 45ACP+P specs).

Just an FYI. Every gun manufactuer will say not to shoot reloads in their firearms. They say it will void the warranty and give you a lot of excuses. Follow Tailgunners advice and be smart about your reloading and you will be fine.
