Finally had a chance to get back out and do a little shooting this weekend. Needed to do a little tweaking to the rear site to get it just right.
But after a little adjustment I shot a 48 pointer, then a 47, 2 more 48s then WhamO the BIG FIVE O, yep finally hit a 50 pointer, after that 1-49 and 3 more 48 pointers... It aint easy keepin all 5 in the black, I get 3 pretty consistantly and then a couple of 9s.... Looks like I'm gonna have to bed my stock to tighten up those other 2...

I see ya nipping at my heels :P . Your windage is right on. The elevation needs a bit more work. I put my front sight at 6:00 to the larger 8x, and adjust elevation so POI is at the 10x. I concentrate focus on the front sight blade. Also keep cheek weld, right hand pressure constant. Varing pressure will vary elevation.
Ammo Tip: My Winchester Dynapoints are Winchester Super X HP. They cost $12.95 at K-Mart or $9.95 at Walmart for a Brick. This may be cheaper than regular Winchester Super X.
Well I'm nipping a litttle closer Cajun, still not as tight a group as you and Trdslinger but I'm getting there!!

Know what I think would be sweet, but don't know if the part would fit, is a williams globe front sight and a williams rear sight. I think we would all be shooting alot better with a nice globe front sight. Wish somebody knew if that setup was possible.
You've really got me thinking now slinger, I like the idea of the front globe site, my father has a set on a little .22 hornet and they are sweet..
I recently put a set of the fire site iron sites on my 10/22 and I really like them. They really tightened up my groups, and it's so much eaiser to get a good site picture with the 3 glowing dots, at least for me.. I had to start wearing bi-focals a few years back and it's been a challenge getting used to them while shooting, but between the new fire sites and a few tips from the folks here (Thanks Guys)I have really improved my groups...
