Do any of you have a fairly new Winchester 94. I have a Winchester specialist of some notoriety who says he thinks he can convert a carbine to .357 max. However, he said something about needing to know if, or how much, Winchester has shortened it (whatever that means). Has Winchester made any changes? I'd like a Trapper in .357 Max. I sure could use some information. My thanks to anyone who can help.
