View Full Version : Ejector Rod

The ejector rod on my Colt Detective Special is loose. It was once "fixed" by a gunsmith many years ago when I knew even less than I know now. What is the best way to keep this rod tight? No matter what I do, it works it's way loose to the point where the cylinder doesn't work correctly. Thanks for any help you can be.

Unscrew the rod and apply Loc Tite red, that should keep it from unscrewing.

I think that's what we used before, but I don't know for sure. I'll try it again
