hey is that a cat w/8 cylinders @ 70 cubic inches each? if it is, you have the potential for becoming a torque & recoil freak.

haha lol, no, I'm just a big fan of the Remington 870. Pretty soon I will post mine in the shotgun section, but I still need a couple more goodies. Anyway, I think I messed up and should have put this post in the gallery, my bad.

Hey bigcat. Nice mini, it looks brand new. For bedding, and other info there is tons in the archives. Use the search feature, select options, and "any date". Enter key words usually several pages will come up.

Hopefully the picture comes out, new camera and all. You can compare this picture to what it once was before.
-M1 carbine rear sight
-Wood handguard
-Wiegland base
-BEC 3-9 x 40 scope
-kkina's ridgidity strut
-Bedded stock
-Medium gas port
-Shock-Buff
-Mike K. 3 1/2 lb. trigger
About all I have left to do is add a Harris bipod.
I think this just may be the "spotter" gun for me and my friend and his model 700 22-250.
To this day we've only seen a couple of coyotes, all out of range. It sure is a great way to spend a Sunday though.

WOW!!!
Looks like a real M 14 in that shot!
Nothing to reference it with.
Very cool.

Here's how I kept the M1 carbine rear on with the Wiegland base. Simply cut. It was all luck that it was perfectly flush on the first cut.

Gun Accessories (http://www.gunaccessories.com/mini1430/index.asp)
It's the brake on the top of the page. I actually think it is a flash hider because it has slots, not holes.
Bigcat870 I love it, that is the nicest mini I've seen in a while. Now where do those wood handguards come from? I may just hav'ta have one !!!

That's a nice looking beast !! What is the under barrel lug, the rigidity strut ? Does it work ??

BigUgly, it is the ridgidity strut that kkina and others have discussed in a post under accurizing. Have yet to get the aaa flashlight or post some groups. In a couple of weeks I may have some spare time to get to the range.
Just found the recent pics of your mini, Bigcat. Man, that is one sweet shootin' iron you've put together. The words "classic beauty" come to mind. The strut looks great! Good job.

That's a very nice looking gun. I was actually going to do something very similar, half way there just about.
