Very good friend of mine up the street is a Class II Manufacturer and does these puppies up ...

Just thought I would share some pics with ya ... ;)

These were just picked up the other day from the machine shop and are still yet in the white and ready to go to heat treat ...

All of this batch are for the 7.62 X 39 ... Some will be threaded ... others for the pressed and pinned and a few of them are for the folders ...

those look sweet. Thats looks like alot of machine work for milled recievers.

You guys answered my question before I even asked it! I know that about 1959 or so most east bloc countires went to a stamped AK receiver to save manufacturing time and money - which led to the introduction of the AKM rifle as the standard Soviet infantry arm. I had been looking into getting an AK-47 for a while (I want one for my collection) but was turned off by the stamped receivers and was wondering where I could get my hands on a real milled, high quality receiver. Thanks for posting information on this manufacturer!
