WARNING TO 870 OWNERS!

My REM 870 Marine Magnum is with a gunsmith right now because of "WOLF" 12GA AMMO! Do not use WOLF shells in your 870.

The shell (not exactly up to specs) keeps getting lodged in the barrel and the extractor fails. The action then freezes. Rendering your shotgun useless. Discount ammo such as "Sellior & Bellot" is good, "PMC" brand is fine also, but pass on the WOLF.

In trying to save a few bucks I now find myslef with a troubled weapon. :(

I had the same thing happen with the same gun using the Promo Winchester shells found at Walmart. AFTER firing the shell, take a cleaning rod and push from the muzzle till it comes out...doesn't take that much pressure.

Sounds like some guns have bad extractors.
