done a little chronographing today. just before i killed the chrony! :o yep, deader than 4 o'clock :D shot him right thru the heart :(
15" factory stainless encore barrel- 41.5gr h4895, 120gr nosler bt, gave 2800fps average, with good accuracy. 4 shots in 3/4", the 5th opened to 1".

Wal Kyode son, doan feel bad about the Crony. I did the same thing with one. And then I did it with sky screens for an Ohler. I have a theory that those dang things have an attraction for bullets. But they also attract arrows. Yep. I killed my crony with a Rothar "Snuffer" broadhead. It was just as dead as if it had been hit with a 44 mag. though. I said a little prayer and buried it under my favorite dogwood tree on the range. May it Rest in peace.
