Anyone have experience with Cabela's black powder revolvers? Work just gave me a $300 online gift certificate for a project I helped on, and Cabela's is one of the places you can spend it at. I'm thinking of one of their Army revolvers or a BP rifle.

Had the opportunity to look over several of the BP revolvers they carry just a couple of weeks ago up in Dundee, MI. If I were to be in the market for another one (I already own a Ruger Old Army), I'd be looking at the 1858 New Army Stainless in .44 caliber. Like my Ruger, stainless is very easy to maintain. But, then again, I just like stainless. I really like the idea of a spare cylinder that's available with it. Unfortunately, MI law would not allow the purchase of the BP revolver by a non-resident. Bummer.

Cabela's is where I got my Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Heavy Target. 2/3 round, 1/3 octogon 34" barrel with tang mounted creedmore sights. I'm learning how to reload all over again. :)
