Karbine Kid, Pantzer-
Nice rifles, both of you.
:sniper:
Hi guys!
Can you help me with my question?
How much can a Swedish Mauser M/96 be worth? The rifle is in mint condition and the rifle comes with some accessories such as muzzle cap, sight guard. Spare rear sights(SM series) and front sight adjustment tool.
Best regards

If truly mint condition, I can see that EASILY going for over $600. Sweedish Mausers are not too easy to come by these days, and they are widely sought after for their quality and accuracy.
Nice rifles guys. ;)
Here are my Swede's.
Hi Guys!
Hey Nice Tyr!!!
That Ag/42 looks nice.
I'm trying to get hold of one or two 20 round mag to my Ag, but it's hard to get one. The 20 round mags were used on converted Ag's that had been parallax mounted onto the recoilless 90mm Pvpj1110 antitank gun. The converted gun is visible on the top of 90mm gun barrel.

That is a nice looking rifle.
Do all the S/N's match? There are about 18 parts that are numbered, firing pin, hand guard, stock, rear sight and so on.
A 96 in that shape with matching numbers around here would be worth $300-$350 and the prices are going up.
Hi Swede!
All the S/N's match, there are no parts from other guns in this one. I got this gun from one of the small arms depot in Sweden for 100SEK = 13$ when the army decided to get rid of all M/96 and M/94 before they turned one hundred year in active service in the beginning of 1990.
You are definitely one lucky son-of-a-gun.
So which side of the pond are you on that you where able to buy it? Or would your name be a hint?
Hi Swede!
If the pond you referring to is the Atlantic, then I'm located in the far east of that pond and a bit further to the east in Sweden for the fact. Which is the origin country for your gun?
All the service personnel within the Swedish armed forces got the offer to buy an M/96 or M/38 rifles for a nice little sum in the early 90's. That was the easiest way to get rid of all this rifles from the arms depots. The rest of the guns ended up on the international market but not as cheep as the first offer I got.
Now days you can often se ads from hunters who are selling their old rifles after they have been converted into hunting rifles.
But now this rifle is going on the market during the spring auction in Stockholm. Just to give place for something new in the “home armoury”.
There are some rifles of the model M/94 and M/38 still in service. These are used only by the different drill teams in the Army and the 1st Royal Cavalry regiment in Stockholm

I'm in the States, right about in the middle.
You may be surprised how many 38's & 96's there are around here. I have one scoped with a new barrel that I use for hunting. Used to see the semi-autos around a lot also but not so much anymore.
So what are you hoping to get out of it and what's are you thinking of getting to replace it?
Hi Swede!
I was hoping to get a HK SL8 Tactical but its hard/ impossible to get a license on it for hunting so it probably will be a new Mini-14 in the near future. But I'm not planning to be that extreme as Pdaddy in the mini-14 forum with all of his modifications. :ar15:
The natural environment agency has a list of guns that you can get licenses on for hunting but non of the fun guns are in that list. And the Stockholm PD don't make any decisions without consulting this list. :(
