A bad day at the range is a good day anytime. For some reason I got a low flyer each group that really spoiled things. I believe it was my hand pressure. I have huge heavy hands, possibly amplified by a soft rear bag? Anyways, the heat, humidity, kids ridding behind me with an atv, wasps swarming, hunger (had no breakfast) had no effect on my shooting. So I can only blame myself. I fired for 3 hrs. First the mini-14 then the 10/22. After resighting in my scope, and am still playing with the tunner. My best so far this month with cheap K-mart Dynapoints is .418". So I am posting it anyway, and compeating against the rest of you that have not entered yet, and myself as carnifex's Awsome shooting prowess has blown away the competion so far this month.

Hey Cajun!
This isn't bad at all! I think if you'd take the average of your 5 and my 5, you'd beat me by a mile. Also, if you're shooting for a long time, your concentration will suffer a big deal, which is probably why you noticed the ATVs, kids, wasps and all that. I bet if you had your "game face" on, you wouldn't have even known what was happening around you... :D
But hey! That just goes to show that every day is different and we all have to deal with it. Except for maybe Carni. I think aliens landed here, took his old 10/22 and gave him one with which you can't miss. That must be it...
Good shooting everyone!!!

Thanks for the encouragement GermanGuy. I will try it again soon.
I'm also switching ranges next month. I have heard from some at work it is a lot better. All concrete benches. They cater to Rifle, and pistol. You can shoot 24-7. The one I'm at now caters to shotgun, and pistol. They can shoot 5 days a week. Rifle can only shoot tue, and wed, and (sat & sun. A.M. only) when there isn't a shotgun event, which is every other week end. Then the other weekends it rains.
I am looking forward to do a lot more shooting. At "least" once a week. :D
