Need scope help- Taurus M62 pump.

I want to scope my daughter's stainless steel Taurus M62 pump carbine .22. Is Taurus the only maker of a Weaver base for this gun? Do I need to get a "scout" scope for the long eye relief? If so, are there any $100 variable scout scopes out there that would be a good choice for this? Thanks.

I prefer the open sights on my Henry Pump .22,but if I was going to scope it I would look at one of Tasco's World Class scopes in Stainless.It sure would make a sharp gun.I'm not sure about the Bases I would try www.midwayusa.com
