Come on now guys, are you scared? :P This is an easy contest. You wanted it so start shooten! You gonna let the old guy win so easy? I'm half blind, trigger finger missing, working 12 hr days, bad tooth on my shooting cheek, walk with a limp, and a walking/glide, using cheap k-mart dynapoints, scope not dialed in, tunner not dialed in, and my head hurts. Still I took time to go to the range if for no other reason than to wake you guys up! Now the above is nothing more than a annoyance to a Marine. I guess unless you were a marine, the above would be major problems for ya huh?

Met some nice people at the range today. They liked my 10/22. One guy had shot a 200 lb mountain lion, and was having it mounted. No he didn't use a .22, he used a 300 mag.

Now If there are any real shooters out there you know this is an easy contest. It will be repeated next month. If I have any competetion, we can kick it up a notch.

Like I said before if you enter, you will be a winner, as you improve, and beat yourself. So come on you can do it! :D

WTG Cajungeo!

I'm in the midst of moving, so I haven't had time to shoot lately.

I'll be able to get in some practice hopefully next week, are we going to start averaging for the August entries?

Each month check the rules, and target. Since I won by default, (Even though it was a good score) the rules, and target will be the same, to give everyone a chance to tune their 10/22's , and time to develope the consistancy needed for the Sept match.

You stock barrel 10/22 guys need to express your interest, so we can get you set up also. I was thinking 25 yds, with or without scope, and a suitable target. Please post on http://www.perfectunion.com/forums/index.p...?showtopic=5589 (http://www.perfectunion.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5589)

The bottom line, is the competition will make you a better shooter, hunter, defender. So get with the program! There are no loosers, only winners, as we all will, become improved shooters! Its easy, and a lot of fun. :D

In upcoming months the targets will change, and the competition will become tougher. Are you up to the challenge?

Great group there Cajungeo. I'm up for the challenge! I didnt post a target because well I still dont have my bull barrel and my gun has been torn apart for a while doing stuff to it. So it dosent fall under the stock catagory with all the internal work, but its stock as far as the barrel lol. I'll be in it for this Augusts match though. Tomorow I think I'm going to place the order at Warner guns for the B&C Odyssey stock and an 20'' or 18'' GM barrel. Good luck to everyone in the contest and nice group Cajun

Each month the competition will become more difficult, the challenge will be greater, the bar will be raised another notch. That's why its important to begin now, while its easy while the bar is low. This will give shooters time to tune, tweek, mod their rifles, and hone their shooting skills. The longer you wait to join in, the more difficult it will be to be to catch up with the better shooters.

I will also give everyone a heads up for next month's contest so those driven to be the best that they can be, will be.

Next month (Sept) same target, but "best average group of 5" on that target will win!

You brought up a good point. Rule #3 has been ammended.
