Modified my stcok and made an adjustable comb for better cheek weld. Ive posted the gun in the Gallery as I shot it today. Maybe it should be 47 pts as the one is s little more in the 9 ring. How should it be counted?

TGS, that should be a 9 and not an 8. Acording to the rules "A hit on a line counts as the higher number" So if you break the 9 line then its a 9.

I'll take the 9 ;)

Wow Tgs, that is impressive! I'm guessing those 52 Grain V-Max bullets are Black Hills??? I have not shot them, but need to try something just a bit lower than 55 grains. The 45 grain Winchester varmint bullets are OK but not great. The 55 grain Remington Soft Points get me averaging 1.5' and just under.

Actually Capt. they are Remington. Im going to roll some of my own this week if I can get out in the shop for a while. (Ive let my Hunney do's pile up and we had a little talk about that this weekend ;) )Ive had really good luck with IMR 3031 in my .220 swift and my M14 and I think I can get the same results with the Mini 14. Biggest problem at the moment is getting a good look at the bull. Im gong to try a piece of black electricians tape about 4" tall below the bulls eye and possible tighten up a bit more. We'll see. 2X at a hundred ???
Ive got a picture of the set up in the "Gallery" with my stock modification you might enjoy seeing.
